The WORSHIP page of the church website has been revised to make it easier for people who are viewing it from a mobile phone. By scrolling down, the worship videos should be easier to find.

Recordings of singing to be emailed as attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. Tuesday 8th December, 2020.
We truly miss seeing all of you at the groups, activities and events we usually spend together. Please know that you all have been a constant in our thoughts and prayers over the last months and we hope to see you, and be back together again, very soon!!!
In the meantime though we have… a competition!!!
We hope that this will bring you some joy and fellowship until we can all meet as normal once more!
So please ask your grownup to join and help you and if you are already a grownup why not ask a friend to join in! Everyone will receive a certificate of completion for taking part and the winner gets… a prize!!!
Now every competition has rules, so here they are:
How to enter: Attached you will find a quiz and 4 other activities. To enter please complete the quiz and at least 1 other activity. If you are unable to print these off, please just respond to this email with your address and we will deliver a printed copy. Then you can either take a picture of your completed sheets and post them on our private Facebook group (search for “St Vigeans Church For Families” and send a join request) or you can just post your completed sheets through the Church Office letter box.
When to enter by: All entries must be submitted by midnight on Sunday the 29th of November 2020
How will the winner be selected: There are no 100% correct answers/results for the quiz and the activities, therefore the winner will be selected at random and you will get your prize and/or certificate delivered to you by the end of the following week. We will need your correct addresses for this so please just private message us on the Facebook group or, if you post your entries through our letterbox, please write your address on the back.
Hope to hear from you all soon and best of luck with God’s
Blessings to you all!!!

The worship video for Sunday 22nd November and available from 10 a.m. on that day, will be produced by our moderator, Rev. Peter Phillips, and shared with his congregations. It will contain the sacrement of Holy Communion and if you wish to take part in this, please have ready some wine and bread. You will find links to the video in the usual places, i.e. on this website (the WORSHIP page) and St Vigeans Facebook page.
Please remember that the service within St Vigeans Church on Sunday, 8th November 2020, will begin at 10 a.m. Due to technical difficulties induced by Covid restrictions there will be no filming in the church of the service, but there will be a pre-recorded video available for those unable to attend church. The video will follow as much as possible the actual service, but with obvious limitations. The video and links will be posted in the usual places and will be available on Sunday morning. It includes an act of remembrance and a two minute silence.
P.S. Items for the food bank will be accepted at church on Sunday.
There will be worship in church on 8th November 2020 (at 10 a.m.) ; 20th December 2020 (at 11.30 a.m.); and 3rd January (at 11.30 a.m.) 2021, all being well. In between those dates there will be the usual worship videos available each Sunday and join us on Zoom most of these "in between" (NOT 1st November) Sundays at 11 a.m. for a chat. (If you do not get the email with the Zoom password, contact the website editor, 07974 663 474.) On the Sundays when we are in church, it is hoped that the online video will be of the actual church service and it will be on YouTube (and the usual links), but won't appear until the Monday following the service.
Please telephone the church office on the morning of the Thursday prior to worship in church if you intend to join with us. Covid restrictions require us to know how many will be attending.
The latest church newsletter is now available on the website, but a hard copy will be delivered through the letterboxes soon for those who do not use computers or have access to email addresses.
There will be the usual Zoom chat on Sunday, 25th October at 11 am. As it is harvest thanksgiving, let's see your favourite breakfast cereal, prior to tucking into it, and let's think about offering a packet of the same to the Food Bank.
Activities in the hall are still cancelled until further notice.
However, there will be worship in church on 8th November 2020; 20th December 2020; and 3rd January 2021, all being well. In between those dates there will be the usual worship videos available each Sunday on YouTube, etc., and join us on Zoom most of these "in between" Sundays at 11 a.m. for a chat. (If you do not get the email with the Zoom password, contact the website editor, 07974 663 474.) On the Sundays when we are in church, it is hoped that there will be a video of the actual church service on YouTube (and the usual links), but that won't appear until the Monday.
