St Vigeans Nature Trail is on the "doorstep" of St Vigeans Church.
Park at St Vigeans church/hall and you have the choice of a walk in one of two directions: along the disused railway line to what was Colliston Station, or along St Vigeans Den to the town, i.e. Arbroath.
The Trail to Colliston Station
It is possible to make this a circular route by walking back along the road.
Distance 5 miles/8km. ; Map OS Landranger 1:50,000 sheet 54; Start/parking St Vigeans Church (grid ref NO 640429). There's a public car park on the opposite side of the burn and one behind the church. ; Grading A level walk along an old railway trackbed and quiet country roads suitable for all the family.
