Every year we collect Easter Eggs for children less fortunate than ourselves. This year, on Sunday 17th March, we will be collecting eggs which we will donate to the Lighthouse Kids - a children’s charity in the town.

The February 2024 newsletter is now available. See below or in the side panel. Please note that it is unlikely that any new website or social media channels will be up and running by 1st March.
On the 29th February 2024 there will be a
Service of Union when the Arbroath and District cluster of churches and worship centres become a single entity under charity number SC006482, governed by the one kirk session. The official name for the united charge will be Arbroath and District Church of Scotland. As can be imagined, an enormous amount of work has been done, is being done, and is still to be done in bringing about this unification and it will be an ongoing task for some time to get everything sorted out, streamlined and efficient. From the 29th February it is envisaged that this website should disappear and from 1st March 2024, in its place, there will be the one website for the united charge, and very likely also the one Facebook Page, YouTube channel and other digital media channels. In the event that this changeover does not happen as smoothly as one would hope, please take the opportunity to note down any contact details that may be of use to you while a website is unavailable.. There is expected still to be a St Vigeans Newsletter produced before the 29th February. Date for your Diary-Thursday, 14th December 2023. 2.30 - 5.30 p.m. at Inverbrothock School.7/12/2023
We are now planning and preparing for Bubblegum 'n' fluff which is our Christmas programme for P5 children. We have 261 children booked in which is a fantastic number and we can't wait to share the Christmas story with them.
We cannot run these sessions without volunteers to help the children move around the church, help with craft, story & worksheet sessions, serve snacks etc. THERE IS A ROLE FOR EVERYONE - whether you are new to working with children or not. Please do consider and let me know if you could volunteer at one or more of the following sessions: Wednesday 6th: 9.45-11.45am Thursday 7th: 9.45-11.45am AND 1-3pm Friday 8th: 10am-12noon Many thanks, Carla MDS Children & Family Worker, Arbroath The Church of Scotland - Scottish Charity Number SC011353 |
