Office Hours during the school Easter Holidays are Thursdays only 9.30 a.m - 2 p.m
Good Friday Service in St Vigeans Church at 7 p.m.
Knox's Soup Lunch & Coffee Afternoon takes place as usual on Good Friday but they will then be on holiday for two Fridays, resuming on Friday 20th April.
St Vigeans Fete is very popular in the community and this year it will take place on 16th June. We are seeking volunteers for a whole host of different things and a special request has been made for volunteers to help with the teas. The more people we have, the more the workload can be shared resulting in shorter spells of duty and enabling all to have the chance to enjoy the day. If you can help, please get in touch with the Stewardship Committee, George Taylor, the website editor or any elder.
It has been confirmed that there will be a Knox's Soup Lunch and Coffee Afternoon on Good Friday, after which there will be a break of two weeks, returning on April 20th.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard for and/or contributed to the St Vigeans coffee morning today. Special thanks to the kitchen staff and waitresses who were kept very busy throughout. But most important of all, thank you to everyone who supported us by coming along and allowing yourselves to be parted from your money. It was lovely to see you and chat.
Our next major fund-raiser will be the fete on 16th June and we are desperately seeking lots of volunteers to help with that. St Vigeans Church coffee morning. Saturday 24th March. 10 a.m. Knox's Hall
The next St Vigeans Conservation Network meeting for litter picking, etc, will be on Monday 2nd April at 6.30. Meet at the St Vigeans Bridge.
There are three Presbytery Walks in Angus on Palm Sunday, but the one most relevant to us begins at Colliston Church at 2 p.m. and is about 4.8 miles. It finishes at the West Kirk where refreshments will be available. Those unable to walk are invited to join in the worship at each end of the walk. This is the extent of the official information. However, there was murmured that a comfort stop would be available at St Vigeans Parish Hall but the writer of this post only assumes that the walk will be along the Nature Trail. A further post will be made if more information is gathered.
